We are an early stage venture fund pursuing environmental progress

Years ago I realized that there are so many incredible brands out there making products that help us to reduce waste and eliminate the need for single-use plastic. But I also realized that finding all of those products required a lot of time, a lot of Internet trolling, and frankly, it just was just not convenient.

I’ve always loved questioning the status quo and society’s approach to things. Is there a better, more efficient, more environmentally friendly, more design-considered, more artful way to do them? I’ve always been fascinated with the process of discovery, invention, and rapid improvements and my favorite saying is ‘iteration is perfection.’

I believe that great iconic brands are built on a really concise assortment of products. The disability community has constantly had to adapt and modify. It felt like a modular product offering really fit in to how they live their lives.

For us, the communication of science is as important as doing good science. But you have to meet people where they are. We understand that science can feel intimidating and complex, so we use design, art, poetry, and pop culture as trojan horses. We think about it as building doors people can walk through. And we’re just getting started.

My intention for Minna was to create a better sparkling beverage with only organic and non-GMO ingredients, and that tastes delicious without the need for sugar or added sweeteners.
